She was first elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2002 and was re-elected in 2006\, 2010 and 2012.  Julianne became the first woman in Minnesota history to serve as Chair of the Senate Tax Committee\, where she successfully led the effort to balance Minnesota's $6 Billion deficit\, without raising even $1 in new taxes.  She also served as Deputy Majority Leader in 2012.  Julianne started in public service in 2001-02 when she was elected by residents of Chanhassen to serve as Commissioner of the Carver County Board of Commissioners.\n\n\n\nRepresentative Joe Hoppe (R)\n\nHouse District 47B\n\nRep. Joe Hoppe\, R-Chaska\, was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2002 and has served seven consecutive terms. The district he represents\, 47B\, is within Carver County and includes the cities of Chaska\, Chanhassen\, and Victoria.  Rep. Hoppe is the Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee.  He also serves on the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee and the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee. He lives with his family in Chaska. \n\n\n\nRepresentative Cindy Pugh (R)\n\nHouse District 33B\n\nCindy Pugh represents House District 33B in the Minnesota House of Representatives covering the communities of Chanhassen\, Deephaven\, Excelsior\, Greenwood\, Minnetonka Beach\, Mound\, Orono\, Shorewood\, Spring Park\, and Tonka Bay. Her committee assignments in the House include Veterans Affairs\, Higher Education\, State Government Finance\, and Government Operations and Elections. She and her husband Jack have lived in Chanhassen for almost 30 years and have two adult children.\n\n\n\nRepresentative Jim Nash (R)\n\nHouse District 47A\n\nJim Nash was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2014 and is beginning his first term.  Nash represents Western Carver County with the cities of Waconia\, Carver\,  Cologne\, Norwood Young America\, Watertown\, Mayer\, New Germany\, Hamburg\, and one precinct in Victoria.  He serves on Transportation Policy and Finance\, Government Operations and Elections\, and State Government and Finance committees.Nash previously served as the Mayor of Waconia from 2010-2014\, and was a City Councilman from 2008-2010.  He is an avid sportsman and chef and lives in Waconia with his wife Kim and their six children.
